Being on the water just after sunrise in a Mokoro was just magic. Our guide poles us through the still water. It is so smooth and quiet, just a slight surge with every push of the pole, and the faint rustle of the grasses against the side of the boat. It sits only a few inches above the water surface so you feel close to everything. This sunrise image conveys the deep peace and beauty of this experience.
