This was a very rare sighting of a mother rhinoceros suckling her young calf. They were some distance away and we only had the ranger's spotlight gelled down for illumination as Rhino's are nocturnal and have sensitive eyes. Shooting on a long lens(300mm) with a large camera chip 21.9 MP and into RAW mode, gives me the most options later in post-production when I can crop in tight and use noise reduction techniques.
