We saw these elephants crossing from a long distance away. Using my 200mm lens with 1.4 converter (giving me effectively a 300mm lens), I trusted to my large chip size and cropping later in post production, and stitching my series together into a panorama. I gave it a blue tonality to emphasize the dream-like quality that the haze created. Elephant trails know no boundaries, we were in Zambia and they were crossing into Zimbabwe.
